Not every university offers courses in every topic of study. The University may offer scholarships for all of its courses, but it may not offer the specific course subject you are interested in.
Eligible courses are subject to change at any time. Scholarship terms and conditions are subject to change at any time. The scholarships may cover all courses at one point in time, but they may omit specific courses at another.
As a result, you must confirm with the University whether the course you are interested in is covered by the scholarship at the time you want to apply.
The scholarships may be limited to specific levels of study. Some scholarships are available for Bachelor’s Degrees only, Masters Degree only, or PhD Degree only while some are only available for both Bachelors/Masters Degree or Masters/PhD Degree.

1. American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship (USA)
The American University Emerging Global Leader Scholarship is intended for high-achieving overseas students who are committed to constructive civic and social change and aspire to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree at the American University. It is designed for students who plan to return home to help under-resourced and underserved communities in their home country. The AU EGL scholarship pays for full tuition as well as housing and board.
2. University of British Columbia International Leader of Tomorrow Award (Canada)
The International Leader of Tomorrow (ILOT) program at the University of British Columbia (UBC) provides bachelor’s scholarships to bright prospective international students from all around the world. The value of scholarships is proportionate to documented financial need, up to full tuition and living expenses for the relevant program of study.
3. UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarships (UK)
The UCL Global Undergraduate Scholarship seeks to enable and encourage overseas students from low-income families to study full-time for a Bachelor’s degree at UCL. Full tuition and/or a maintenance allowance are awarded.
4. Sheffield Hallam University Transform Together Scholarships (UK)
International and European Union (non-UK) students enrolling to study any full-time postgraduate or undergraduate taught course at Sheffield Hallam University are eligible for Transform Together scholarships. For postgraduate courses and each year of an undergraduate degree, a fee waiver of half (50%) is available.
5. University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (Canada)
The University of Manitoba Graduate Fellowships (UMGF) are merit-based prizes available to students of any country enrolled as full-time graduate students (Master’s or PhD) at the University of Manitoba. Students in all fields of graduate study are eligible to apply, with the exception of those in the Faculty of Medicine and the Master of Business Administration (MBA). For a 12-month period, the fellowships are worth $18,000 for PhD students and $14,000 for Master’s students.

6. Cambridge International Scholarship Scheme (UK)
The University of Cambridge will award about 80 Cambridge International Scholarships to Overseas Students pursuing a research course leading to a PhD degree at the University through the Cambridge Trusts. Each award will cover the entire cost of tuition and living expenses for the duration of the course.
7. Lund University Global Scholarship Program (Sweden)
The Lund University Global Scholarship Program is designed for outstanding academic students from countries outside the European Union/European Economic Area (including Switzerland) who want to study Bachelor’s or Masters Degree courses at the University. Scholarships may cover up to 25%, 50%, 75%, or 100% of tuition.
8. The University of the West of England Chancellor’s Scholarships
The Chancellor’s Scholarship is available to excellent overseas students pursuing any Postgraduate study at the University of the West of England, Bristol, except MBA, BPTC, LPC, GDL, MSc Robotics, PhD’s, and continuing professional development courses. The scholarships pay the entire tuition cost.
9. Bristol Think Big Scholarships (United Kingdom)
Bristol University is investing £500,000 to assist the smartest and best overseas students in pursuing any full-time Undergraduate (excluding Medicine, Dentistry, and Veterinary Science) or Postgraduate study at the University of Bristol. The grants range from 25% to 100% of tuition fees.
10. University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships
The University of Sussex Chancellor’s International Scholarships are available in the majority of Sussex Schools and are awarded to non-EU international students who have applied for and been offered a place on eligible full-time Postgraduate Taught degrees at the University of Sussex on the basis of academic performance and potential. The scholarship covers half of the overseas student tuition fee for one year.
