University of Calabar (UNICAL) Post UTME (A Detailed Overview)

Here is a detailed overview of the UNICAL Post UTME. The University of Calabar (UNICAL), one of Nigeria’s leading tertiary institutions, has announced the commencement of its post-UTME registration for the 2023/2024 academic session.

This is an important announcement for candidates who scored 140 and above in the Joint Admissions & Matriculation Examination (JAMB) and have chosen UNICAL as their first choice.

Registration Details

The registration for the Post UTME started on Monday, July 10th, 2023. The portal was open until Sunday, August 20th, 2023. Candidates were advised to complete their registrations within this window.

Payment and Registration Procedure

The payment and registration procedure was made available through two options:

• E-transact option: This option was available in all commercial banks nationwide. Candidates were required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN, they could log into the portal www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link, then follow the instructions on the portal after login.
• Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option: This option gave access to purchase a Post-UTME pin from the portal. Candidates could click Buy Post-UTME Pin Online to purchase the Post-UTME pin online. They could then log in with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.

The charge for the Aptitude Test was ₦2,000.00.

Screening Test

The screening test started on Monday, August 28th, 2023, and ended on September 2nd, 2023¹. It was a Computer Test (CBT), and candidates were advised to check the Portal from Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, for their venue and time of the CBT.
